Actor groups
Actor groups (AG) are functional networks of actors that are developing the production, processing, and marketing of legume crops. Legumes Translated works to better link research and practice by conducting knowledge syntheses in and between groups to support adaptation and adoption of innovations by practitioners.
The actor groups vary greatly depending on their origin and purpose. To varying degrees they involve farmers, processors, marketing specialists, retailers, advisors and scientists. Our 14 actor groups already exist independently outside the project. Through a representing partner in the consortium, Legumes Translated supports the knowledge exchange between actor groups and the interaction between research and practice at the European level.
