The Markup Import Assistant now imports from other software formats. Before you import, check for the DXF of a markup and use the Import Markup Assistant to convert it to Autodesk® DWG, DWF, DWI, or PDF formats. From the import assistant, drag-and-drop a DXF, DWG, DWF, DWI, or PDF into the working drawings and choose the required template for your markups. You can also copy, paste, or drag-and-drop an AutoCAD Raster Format or AutoCAD layer to import a DXF, DWG, DWF, DWI, or PDF to the working drawing. When you add a layer to the working drawing, the import assistant applies the template to all layers in the drawing. The import assistant runs with the layer visibility settings, so you can always see your markups.The Markup Assistant now automatically imports comments from your custom style definitions.Any change you make to the imported text will be applied to your drawing. In the Import Markup Assistant, you can also remove the importing markups by selecting them in the list of the markups and pressing the Delete key.When the import assistant opens, you’ll see the Template Manager with the existing templates that correspond to the selected DXF, DWG, DWF, DWI, or PDF format.
